- Turbo Energy introduces in the Latin American market its new division Turbo Energy Solutions, focused on the development of hybrid solutions for generation, storage and intelligent management of photovoltaic energy for the commercial and industrial sector.
- The company is committed to the Energy as a Service (EaaS) model, facilitating companies’ access to advanced energy technologies without the need for large upfront investments. This approach allows for an efficient and sustainable supply with a payment scheme based on the service and benefits obtained.
- Turbo Energy Solutions has launched its first project in Latin America in the Alto Labranza shopping center (Temuco, Chile), installing a Sunbox Industry storage system managed with Artificial Intelligence.
- The hybrid generation and smart storage solution will generate more than 147 MWh per year and has already proven its effectiveness in ensuring the complex’s power supply during the massive blackout that affected 99% of the country at the end of February.
The Spanish company Turbo Energy, a subsidiary of Umbrella Global Energy and a pioneer in advanced solar energy storage technologies and solutions with Artificial Intelligence, has announced its arrival in Chile with the launch of its new Turbo Energy Solutions division. This line of business, designed for the Latin American market, offers customized solutions for generation, storage and intelligent management of photovoltaic energy aimed at the commercial and industrial sector.
The first joint project carried out by Turbo Energy Solutions consisted of the installation of the first smart storage system in Latin America in the Alto Labranza shopping center, located in the city of Temuco, Chile. This project involves the implementation of a hybrid system of solar generation and active storage, consisting of a photovoltaic installation and a Sunbox Industry system with 102.4 kWh capacity, managed with Artificial Intelligence technology. Thanks to this solution, Alto Labranza will produce more than 147 MWh of clean energy per year and will optimize its energy efficiency.
The system passed its first stress test in the last week of February, just a few days after its activation, when Chile suffered a massive blackout that left 99% of the country without supply in the middle of a heat wave and almost completely paralyzed the country’s industrial and business activity. The technology installed by Turbo Energy Solutions allowed the Alto Labranza Strip Center to maintain its activity with total normality, ensuring a stable and continuous supply.
“The installation at the Labranza site marks a double milestone. On the one hand, it represents Turbo Energy’s entry into a leading renewable energy country with an innovative business model. On the other, it is the first smart storage system implemented in all of Latin America, setting a precedent for the incorporation of new models that drive the economic decarbonization of the region,” said Mariano Soria, CEO of Turbo Energy.
With the Energy as a Service (EaaS) model, Turbo Energy introduces a new way of managing and consuming energy, allowing companies and industries to access advanced technologies without the need for large upfront investments. Through this modality, the business sector can benefit from an optimized, efficient and sustainable energy supply, with a payment system based on the service and the benefits obtained.
